Frail Creatures

What frail creatures,
We all really are,
Walking and talking,
And some going to bars.
Drinking to excess,
And some taking drugs,
Trying so hard,
To be tough like thugs.
Life speaks loud,
It doesn't usually whisper,
Turn your life around,
And try to get the picture.
Time to make a choice,
Before you lose all of your bait,
Go outside and fish,
And have so much more grace.
Recognize the face,
Of the one you've never seen,
He hides in the warm light,
Like he's always truly been.
He won't tell you how to live,
But he'll try to be your guide,
Live your life well,
And He'll know you really tried.
