Ancient Singers

Ancient singers,
I hear your pain,
It's lasted through the ages,
And is recaptured again.

Your voice has depth,
So long has it passed,
The meaning so powerful,
And built to last.

My whole life so short,
I started from scratch,
I'm in love with nature,
Not caught in a trap.

Now wait just a moment,
Though money is no object,
Just ride through the country,
And see the bright sunset.

The many rings of the tree,
I really want your genes,
You live so long,
Being careless and free.

Educated guess,
Neither here nor there,
When man looks for truth,
He doesn't even care.
