Subjects Of Change
May it please the court,
With all due respect,
We are subjects of change,
But we're never perfect.
Personal records,
Of my reflection,
Like a ship's log,
On a watery destination.
The writer is tuned-in,
With the mighty blue journal,
8 1/2 by 11,
He is the cool rebel.
For private use,
On timely events,
On these occasions,
I must comment.
So, will I, be lost to history?
This is a mystery.
