The Inventor

Changed man,
No longer the same,
Moving toward the future,
Saying it loud and to exclaim.

Inventor was He,
Inventor like me,
Of course you know reality,
Is the best place you can be.

Get those bonus points,
In the big game show of life,
But don't give the wrong answers,
Or you'll probably just jack knife.

A carrot on a string,
That's what makes this world go ‘round,
It's always there to tease,
But never in the lost and found.

Now turn the key,
Or sing that key,
It may happen to sound,
Something like me.

What's in store?
When you open the door?
Is it only a friend?
Or an affair d'amour?
