The Desires Of Me

Please don't ask,
The desires of me,
Because I'm not sure,
If you'd even agree.

Dry ice melts,
When it picks up steam,
Your life goes by,
In a cold, iron dream.

Short words can express,
The spoken letters for today,
They go out of your mouth,
For no one else to say.

You know everything's just like,
A cat and mouse game,
Because the people chase the money,
And look for all the fame.

I guess I'm not so brilliant,
But I still try to be bright,
I turn on all the light bulbs,
In the darkness of the night.

It's the bold illumination,
That we capture with our eyes,
The sun's light switch is never off,
But it's on all day and night.
