Talented Primates
All the great masters,
Have given all they had,
Painting or writing,
They were brilliant,
Some were mad.
1503,
Was the birth of Mona Lisa,
Then in 1504,
Became a youth named David.
A long distance call,
I'm looking to the past,
I can figure out,
This art will last and last.
Illustrations,
And full color plates,
Created by talented primates.
But can I imitate?
But can I duplicate?
Am I second-rate?
Am I dead weight?
