You Can't Change The World
The light of knowledge,
Along the long and warm bright path,
I can see things now,
Of actions I can't grasp.
Indifference is so common,
And I see it oh so much,
Some people in the world,
Always act and behave as such.
Speaking of young America,
Young America so unkind,
Of course there's no time to talk,
But for T.V. all the time.
But you can't change the world,
No, you can't change the world,
Even with one simple request,
Even though you don't like it,
Or even want to protest.
What does it matter?
That's just the way it all adds up,
But find someone who loves you,
And you'll be totally in luck.
