Sad Laughter
Don't drown in the air, With a feeling of despair, Because outside it stays brisk, In a one way crazy affair. Left, center, right, You know your own plight, Not happily ever after, Every single night. The desert is dry, At the blink of an eye, And the oceans are always waving, To say hello or say good bye. The waves want to be noticed, Like a greeting from the moon, It pulls and then lets go, And no one is immune. The tender, sad laughter, I know but I can't see, It circles around my head, In total complexity. So my neurons keep on firing, Like they're in some shooting range, Talking to each other, In a chemical interchange.
