Nature's Peace
The rain slips down the window, In a soft and vertical dance, Its falling makes the music, I enjoy at every chance. It reminds me of a peace, Which humans can not share, Because nature never argues, Tells lies, or even swears. This shows we aren't connected, With the elements or ourselves, Trying to avoid these things, Just makes me want to yell! The droplets are never mad, Moody, or upset, People run around, Just trying to not get wet! What is so bad? Of this experience on your skin? When you walk around outside, It can only make you grin. The clouds still shine on me, When it pours and comes down hard, I listen to its wisdom, That is true and avant-garde.
