The Eye as Camera
A private eye,
A public eye,
Put them together,
And you'll be very wise.
This is double vision,
But is considered 20/20,
No need to correct,
You won't see things fuzzy.
The rods and cones,
Hang out with the retina,
Light rays must pass,
In a backward direction.
Vitreous humour,
Is no laughing matter,
It's on a visual scene,
Through which light is gathered.
The pupil does not have to,
Pass any tests,
But helps take pictures,
In front of the optical lens.
The iris does not grow,
As a flower in a garden,
And the cornea is transparent,
But it's images are so important.
